SEMINARS

Seminars are special events hosted by the skating club and typically involve welcoming a special guest coach or skater to work with or perform for our skaters.  These are optional, ticketed events developed to build technique in a particular area and add inspiration and excitement to the program.

Our next seminar will be Saturday September 20th, 2025 and will welcome Nam Nguyen and Gracie Gold!

Our STAR 1 to Competitive skaters are invited to join Gracie Gold and Nam Nguyen on the ice for a seminar on Saturday September 20th, 2025.

Nam is the 2014 World Junior champion, 2019 Skate Canada silver medallist, and two-time Canadian national champion (2015, 2019). He has placed as high as fifth at the World Championships, in 2015.

Gracie is the  2014 Olympic bronze medalist in the team event, a six-time Grand Prix medalist (2 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze), and a two-time U.S. national champion (2014, 2016). She placed 4th at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. At the junior level, Gold is the 2012 World Junior silver medalist, the 2011 JGP Estonia champion, and the 2012 U.S. Junior national champion.

10:40 am - 11:30 am STAR 4 to GOLD on ice with Gracie and Nam

11:30 am - 12:20 pm STAR 1, 2, 3 on ice with Gracie and Nam

12:30 pm - 1:20 pm PRECOMP A&B on ice with Gracie and Nam

1:20 pm - 2:10 pm COMP on ice with Gracie and Nam

2:15 pm - 3:00 pm Off-ice Chat with Gracie and Nam

Registration is now open. The Cost is $25.00 per session.
