for a Seminar as part of our Pre-Fall Bootcamp on August 31st, 2026.

Join us for a week long training camp for skaters Star 2 - Competitive.  Includes a special seminar on day 1 featuring Coach Darlene Joseph and Skater Reese Rose.  Seminar will include on ice group instruction and off ice Q&A. 

All days will include a minimum of one freeskate and one off ice session for starskate and two for comp and pre-comp skaters.  Off ice sessions will include jump, stretching, mental strength training, and preparing for competitions.

Reese (17yrs old) is a small-town girl from Gananoque who fell in love with skating at just two years old. At six, she began training at the Gloucester Skating Club under coach Darlene Joseph. At 12, she made the difficult decision to leave home and billet in Ottawa, allowing her to train full-time while attending St. Peter’s Catholic School—a major step toward pursuing her skating dreams.

 

Reese has been a member of the Skate Canada National Junior Team for 4 years.  Reese recently placed an amazing 6th in her Senior debut at the Skate Canada National  Skating Championships in Gatineau this past January.  She is the 2026 Skate Canada Next Gen silver medalist, the Skate Ontario Senior Women’s Bronze Medalist & also captured the silver medal at the 2025 Cote d’Azur Metropole Trophy in Nice, France.  Reese has proudly represented Canada internationally in Luxembourg, France, Estonia, Boston, and most recently in Abu Dhabi.  

 

In May 2026, Reese made history at the Skate Canada National Camp by becoming just the second Canadian woman to land a triple Axel—a remarkable feat accomplished by only a select few elite skaters worldwide. She now plans to debut the challenging jump in competition later this year.
